Terms & Conditions of Use (T&Cs)
I. Overview
The Crawlens service is offered to give businesses and individuals access to website change monitoring: scheduled visual and technical capture, the evidence those captures produce, and AI-written interpretations of that evidence. The Company may change the Service from time to time by adding, modifying, suspending, or discontinuing features. Your access is conditioned on compliance with these Terms Of Use and our Privacy Policy.
II. Conditions Governing All Users
The Service is available only to human users (not bots) who are 13 years of age or older. Users must submit truthful and accurate information and keep it up to date. You agree not to impersonate any entity or misrepresent your identity. You are responsible for the security of your account and must tell us immediately if it is compromised. You are also responsible for who you invite into your organization, and for removing access you no longer want.
III. Conditions Governing Subscribers
A User who pays for the Service is a “Subscriber”. Subscriptions recur either monthly or annually. Subscribers are responsible for cancellation prior to automatic renewal. You must ensure payment information is accurate and respect maximum payment terms. Failure to process charges may result in subscription cancellation and loss of data.
IV. Cancellation and Refund Policy
You can cancel at any time from the billing page, or by writing to us. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the Service keeps running until the end of the period you already paid for, and your data stays until you delete it. Monthly subscriptions can be refunded if the request is made within 7 days of the invoice. For yearly payments we can refund the remaining whole months. Billing is handled by our Merchant of Record, which issues the invoice, collects the payment and processes the refund to the original payment method — we never see your card number. This policy is a commercial commitment and does not limit any statutory right you have, including any right of withdrawal that applies to you.
V. Service Limitations
Crawlens may establish limits concerning the use of the Service, including access frequency. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features without notice. We aim for constant availability but may limit access if we consider the Application is being used abusively (e.g., through automated access that causes system strain).
VI. Trademarks; Copyrights; Proprietary Rights
Crawlens owns the visual interfaces, graphics, design, computer code and all other elements of the Service. You may not modify, reproduce or distribute them without express permission. When you add a site to monitor, you grant Crawlens a non-exclusive licence to fetch, store and process that page and its technical signals for as long as you keep it monitored, because that is the service. If AI analysis is switched on for your organization, the extracted text of the pages you chose to monitor — not the screenshot, not your account data — is also sent to our AI provider to produce an interpretation of a change, and is stored with that change. Turning AI analysis off stops that, and the interpretations already produced stay until the retention window removes them.
VII. Liability Limitation
The Service is provided as-is. To the fullest extent the law allows, Crawlens disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Crawlens is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service or your inability to reach it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory rights as a consumer. You are responsible for the pages you choose to monitor and for the decisions you make on the basis of what the Service reports; we report what we observed and interpreted it, we do not guarantee what any page will do next.
VIII. Governing Law
These terms and your use of the Service are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Company is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles.
