Free site check

Check a site in seconds.

Type an address. We fetch it once and check what an agency gets blamed for: does it answer, can Google index it, is the certificate or the domain about to lapse, is the head of the page intact. Nothing is saved.

One page per check. We fetch it the way a crawler does, without a browser, and keep nothing.
What it checks

The failures agencies get blamed for.

Each one is quiet when it happens and expensive when it is noticed. All of them are classes Crawlens watches continuously.

Reachability and HTTPS

Does the page answer, and over a secure address, after following its redirects?

Indexing

A noindex in the head or the response headers, and a robots.txt that shuts out every crawler.

Expiry dates

The SSL certificate and the domain registration, read from the TLS handshake and the registry's RDAP record.

The head of the page

Title, meta description, canonical address, main heading, forms, measurement tags and structured data.

What it does not do

One fetch cannot show a change, and without a browser it does not render the page or compare screenshots. That is what the monitoring product is for.
