Domain expiry checker

When does your domain run out?

Type an address. We read the domain's expiry date from the registry's record and tell you how many days are left. Free, no signup, nothing is stored.

One page per check. We fetch it the way a crawler does, without a browser, and keep nothing.

What it checks

Domains are registered for a fixed term. The tool reads the expiry date over RDAP (the modern, standard successor to WHOIS), straight from the registry's own record, and reports the days left.

Why it matters

When a domain expires, the site, the email and everything else on the domain stops with it. Renewal is often tied to an expired card or the inbox of someone who has left, so the reminder emails reach nobody.

How to fix it

  1. Turn on auto-renew in your registrar's panel.
  2. Check that the payment method and the contact email on file are current.
  3. Consider renewing critical domains for several years at once.
Questions

What people ask next.

Why do some domains show "not determined"?

Not every registry offers RDAP; for some country-code domains the expiry date cannot be read this way. Then the tool says so rather than guessing.

Is an expired domain lost immediately?

Usually not; most extensions have a grace period. But the site does not work during it, and its length depends on the extension.

Not once. Every day.

This check is today's snapshot. Crawlens runs the same checks on your clients' sites on a schedule and tells you, with the evidence, when something breaks.
